I fear a 4-2 loss but even that gives us a chance in the second leg. I reckon at home we can win by 2.

What is it with Brits, booze and football?

Given the behaviour of some of our twattish fans at some of the other away games, I'm not surprised.
I have been to all games and seen nothing really worthy of arrests or charging from police.

The only two occasions where the police have felt the need (desire) to charge people is in Spain.

No surprise there really seeing as they still think Its a police state and they do what they want to whoever they want.

The Spanish police really are a disgusting breed of thugs.

Place a pre-match bet on the Atletico Madrid v Leicester game and we’ll give you a risk free In-Play bet to the same stake on the big match.
To qualify for your risk free In-Play bet, simply place a bet before kick-off then, once the game starts, place another bet on any In-Play market. If your FIRST In-Play bet loses we will refund this stake, up to the same value as your largest pre-match bet (max refund £50*).

I went with Coral, which offered something similar (although it's now down to 10/1). No doubt you can put a link that adds you as an affiliate.

With a bet refund offer, you get your original stake available for another bet. Used with contra-bets you can cash out 80-90 per cent of your original stake. Thus, if you're making this a one-off punt the effective odds are 5-10 times the stated odds. 100/1 on Leicester winning one specific match...

Living not far from the spanish border I've been known to visit Spain. I've always found the police to be polite and helpful, the people too. The Gendarmes in France are far more of a police state. The only times I've been charged by police though were in England but they were in the dark days of football thuggery.

I'm glad we were both able to share our different experiences regarding the thuggish Spanish police.

They will simply return back to the UK and crack on, I get there are two sides to every story I just hope this wasn't a bunch of nob heads trying to cause trouble
I hope this was a bunch of nob heads who got what they deserved

I have no idea whether it was warranted or not, on this occasion. As I said, however, I have seen behaviour that certainly would have deserved being arrested in both Copenhagen and Seville. Not in Porto, mind.

I'm genuinely pleased you didn't, though.

England and Leicester City official photographer condemning indiscriminate and unwarranted brutality from Spanish police

Take a look at @MichaelRegan's Tweet:

Spoken to a couple of very reliable people (my 61 year old uncle being one) who are over there and they have described the police just mindlessly wading into people who are walking across the square.

Disgusting behaviour and it happens every single time teams play in Spain. In Seville the police entered the stadium and smashed the living shit out of people at the back of the stand for fun.

About time it was looked into

The last visiting player to score at the Vicente Calderon in a tie in the last 16 or later was Kaka in AC Milan's 4-1 loss in March 2014, and Leicester's challenge is to succeed where Chelsea, Barcelona (twice), Real Madrid and Bayern Munich have all failed.

There is a history of this kind of thing, particularly with British teams but apparently Lyon are one of a few others that have made complaints against Spanish police in the past? About time UEFA tried to crack down on it really by punishing the Spanish FA if it doesn't stop.
