Looked to me that the game plan was 'hang on for a point'. Just embarrassing. Bournemouth made us look decidedly non-league, running through us at will. Yet, unbelievably, we could have nicked it.
In his brief appearance, Mahrez showed why we simply cannot afford to drop him; he's seemingly the only player capable of creating anything for us.

Best possible result in my opinion. Don't want us to lose games but I don't want Shakespeare to be the manager. Not one jot.

The players will perform different roles in a system if he makes it clear to them that that's what their bloody well paid to do.

Wrong appointment in the first place. He made the right personnel changes today for me. Mahrez had been shit most of the season and I can see why hed prefer the experience of Fuchs over Chilwell to hopefully help sturdy up the defence a bit. However in the end, it was a case of same old shit. Personnel changes, formation etc means shit to me. The first thing we need to change is the manager.

We have not replaced Kante and to make matters worse we failed to replace Drinky he has bought players who he is refusing to use we are struggling because of our midfield and Shakey is refusing to make us more compact in the middle with a change in formation

He is using players he has bought. He used Iborra, Maguire and Iheanacho today. Iborra was utter shit, Iheanacho was never going to get any service from the midfield and Maguire played fairly well. Drafting in Dragovic would have been stupid as Morgan and Maguire are doing fairly well at present. His biggest mistake today was dropping Mahrez and playing Albrighton. That was idiotic and should have been the other way around.
There were things he could and should have done differently today but options are limited with the midfield players we have, or rather don't have, at the club. Perhaps playing 3 in the centre will work and we should at least give it a go but it could prove to be the case that 3 incompetant players in the middle is worse than 2. I agree it is worth finding out though.

Agreed the problem is every manager knows exactly how we will start and what system we will play that is fine when your two CM are competing we have one the other is complete pony! Iborra prefers to play just infront of the back 4 normally in a 5 man midfield something Shakey has no choice but to do, if we had gone 4-5-1 against Liverpool we would have won, a similar line up today would have nullified them, Iborra did help in the second half imo.
The Silva shambles says everything at the moment we have no midfielder who can get on the ball and dominate.

Why is he not using Amartey in the position that he excelled in before he went to the ACON?
It's a simple solution to me. 3 in the middle including Amartey to help take the burden off Wilfred.
You can then either play Mr Not good enough or Mr not ready for the PL.
