Wasn't there a statement that we had made an arrangement with the football league and our case was closed?

Kicks off tonight with Reading vs Derby. Liam Moore not involved, but both Nuge and Lawrence starts for Derby

And Lampard wins his first game, thought it could certainly be argued it wasn’t down to his tactical brilliance.

Reading were comfortably the better side. How Derby managed to win that God only knows.

Reminds me of a day at Cov (80/81 I think?) half time 'entertainment' was provided by some crowd interaction from some local wanknugget accompanied by 2 blokes dressed as:

a) A cup of coffee

b) A cheese cob

Vendepac were the match sponsor.

Been people on Twatter moaning about the boiler man using the '**** modern football' line. But this sort of shite has a long history.

Best thing about that day long ago is the local Cov twat doing the old oggie, oggie, oggie! thing. One stand at a time. Obviously he got the required oi, oi, oi response from the 3 home sides (Probably the closest you get to entertainment in Coventry) But was then met with total silence from our end. Highly amusing.

We got stuffed 4-1 though so the fun ended there :012:

Sounds a bit watery to me.

Relates to Barnsley, so League One, but I thought this was good:

https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/45185521

“Barnsley have written a supportive letter to a lifelong fan who openly discussed his depression and anxiety on social media.

Chris Ryder received the letter from the club's chief executive Gauthier Ganaye and posted it on Twitter.

Mr Ganaye said his "office door is always open" and the League One club would be "returning the favour" in support for his loyalty as a fan.”

I’m not quite sure what to say.

How about:

"Wonderful to see the US fans finally embracing the ancient traditions associated with the Beautiful Game rather than trying to co-opt it into their own sporting conventions where it has never really fitted" ?

Ok. Maybe not.

In the end I just decided to hope that this epic confrontation actually happens & this loudmouthed Yank ****wit & his mates AND the South London filth end up killing each other in some piss stained back street somewhere. A clear case of manifest destiny if ever there was one.

Simon Jordan was talking about QPR’s problems on Talksport.

The part that made me chuckle was his comment about Harry Redknapp:

“I look at Harry Redknapp in the transfer window of 2013 – I would no more let Harry Redknapp preside over my transfer dealings autonomously, than I would let a syphilitic nutter run around my brothel if I was a brothel keeper.“
