Common sense has prevailed.

The judge has now said he won't be subject to a curfew but will do the rest of his community service later this year. Hopefully away from the intrusion of the media.

He must be relieved as I agree with Blaarev that his plan did seriously backfire. He should sack his brief.

Not lucky at all; the curfew order was wholly inappropriate to the circumstances and has properly been quashed. Curfews should be used to reduce an offender's opportunity for criminal activity and perhaps to protect a local community from anti-social behaviour. I don't see any evidence that either was required in this case and I can't imagine what made the first judge apply this sentence; perhaps she was a bitter-red or bitter-light blue.

Hopefully she scared him a bit, no matter what tone of colour she has.
 
The front page of The Scum is not happy with the outcome.

I was going to post a link but after reading the article I wouldn't want to waste the valuable time of forum members.

Apparently the latest decision has 'sparked fury' but only with his ex-girlfriend as far as I can see.
 
Is this the ex girlfriend that's still livingin the house he paid for?

Would this be the ex-girlfriend who refused to testify against him and claimed he was "a good man" or the ex-girlfriend who has been offered a shit load of money by Murdoch?? I'm confused or drunk or both.

Oh dear. I fear he might have re-ignited a situation. Not the cleverest thing to have done. But then I guess with InstaTwitFace, we're living in an age where public laundry displays are the norm.
 
As long as it doesn't distract him from his football, I really couldn't give a **** what he does or doesn't do in his personal life.
