Tickets

We have been allocated 3686 tickets for this match. Thay are located in the South Stand and priced at £27 for Adults, £14 for Senior Citizens over 60 and £10 for Under 16's in the Upper Tier and £25 for Adults, £13 for Senior Citizens and £10 for Under 16's in the Lower Tier.

Tickets will go on sale as follows:
Monday 13th November - Season Ticket Holders Priority 1
Tuesday 14th November - Season Ticket Holders Priority 2
Wednesday 15th November - Season Ticket Holders Priority 3
Thursday 16th November - Members
Friday 17th November - General Sale

The price of tickets will increase by £3 for adults and £1 for concessions on the day of the game for both tiers if tickets are available.


Coaches

FoxTravel is priced at £10.50 Adult STH, £8.50 Concession STH; £11.50 Adults without ST and £9.50 Concessions without ST. Coaches will depart from the Walkers Stadium at 12.30 p.m.

Trains

Two MML trains each hour - non-stop to Derby - but beware that they leave within about 12 minutes of each other and then you have to wait over ¾ hour for the next one. In the return direction they are more evenly spaced; just after the hour and just after the half-hour.

Cheap Day Return fare is £7.30 but groups of 3 or 4 can travel for the price of 2 by asking for GroupSave tickets - £4.90 each for each of a group of 3, £3.65 for each of a group of 4. Please note that all these are walk-up tickets and can be bought at the time of travel.


Directions

The official directions say:
M1 to Junction 25.
Take the A52 towards Derby and then follow the signs for Pride Park

But for access to the away car-park, I think it is better to leave the M1 at Junction 24, follow the A6 towards Derby and then to look out for the signs directing you to the away car-park.

Pubs

None particularly near the ground and those near the approaches to the away car-park are pretty ropey, although The Navigation pn London Road (the A6) is recommended by some.

The Merry Widows, The Brunswick and The Alexandra are all near the station and have welcomed well-behaved away fans in the past - the Alexandra seems to be the most popular of these.

Yup - and while every other online rail ticket seller will send you them for free, thetrainline.com will charge you £2 for the privilege of doing business with them!

These are walk-up tickets and are not subject to quota restrictions - no need to book ahead - buy them on the day.

If you go by train and are planning to go directly to the ground, don't leave the station by the main entrance, you'll have a lot further to walk if you do. There's a smaller exit on the other side of the bridge which takes you directly to the Pride Park business park.

If you go by train and are not planning to go directly to the ground, make sure you don't have any colours on display. If you do, the police will probably not let you out of the main entrance and you will be forced to leave by the smaller exit on the other side of the bridge, directly into the Pride Park business park and you will have a long walk to get back to the city centre pubs.

Derby have a 'young adult' ticket for people aged from 17 to 21. It is avallable as a season ticket and on a match-by-match basis to members only. It is not available to non-members and therefore is not required to be made available to away fans.

We are in the same stand as we are usually in - I wouldn't say it was tiered either. I presume that the two different prices are simply for the front section and the back section.

there's a canny ickle pub just across from the away end of the ground. its on the other side of those beautiful gas towers, for the past few seasons i have been allowed in with my city shirt on so it might be a reasonable bet for a drink this season

The Brunswick or Alexandra Hotel. Both these pubs have a railway theme, serve a great range of real ales and offer a selection of filled rolls. Although they both have bouncers on the doors away fans are normally let in as long as there is no singing.

I hate the coach! I'd prefer to go on the train, but it depends on who I go to the match with. What are your travel plans? Train I'm guessing...
