I'm happy that Simpson is in so that Ricardo can play up top seeing as Gray and Ghezzal are complete shite

But then he puts Ghezzal in over Albrighton? Really?

**** waiting till after the game, sack him now.

To be fair Albrighton looked absolutely shagged against Cardiff (which is why some of us wanted heavier rotation for that game).

I think it’s a pretty sensible lineup all considered. The Cardiff lineup was the stupid one...especially because his subs were made for fitness reasons in that game.

Nacho confidence must be shot to smithereens.

I've lost the will to care about these selections now. I did say that I wanted to see Simpson in so Ricardo could get forward so that's something but Evans in for Soyuncu is baffling.

**** it, I’d have played Fuchs for Ghezzal.

I do very much look forward to a manager who doesn’t make 4-5 changes a game. It’s understandable this time of year, but we’ve been doing it all season.

Of all clubs we should understand the value of a settled side.

Absolutely anything could happen. I hope that the players picked play well.
It doesn't seem to matter about who starts, it's always changing. Just hope they do something today.

Iborra doesn't even make the bench. Iheanacho doesn't even make the waiting list for the bench. Silva doesn't even get a list of match dates anymore.

For the most part he's looked dreadful however there were moments of very lovely stuff from him against Cardiff.
He still took too long on the ball, when he had openings. He gets into decent positions, but wants too much time and it costs him. Hopefully that will improve, but time is a luxury.

Yes, you're right. There was at least some progress though. He did a few things which I thought showed there was at least a half decent player in there somewhere.

Two wildly inconsistent teams looking for the magic formula to start a good run in the new year. Expect the match to be such a random mix of good and bad you might as well start both teams in their first choice blue shirts, and start eating the popcorn.
