    From the Merc:

    "The broadcasters are expected to announce their televised fixtures for August and September on July 10 and with City playing several of the big six in those two months, expect to dates and kick-off times to be tweaked."

    Tweaked? so changed by 5 or 10 minutes.

    It's always good to get Arsenal at the beginning of the season If we can get 4-6 points from the first 3 games it will be a cracking start

    Don't they usually start well but then demand Arses out by November time? One of their nose diving months would be better.

    Football has a funny way of bringing up fixtures.
    Remember Brian Little going to villa?

    What chances Riyad will be on the other side on the 1st day of the season?
    (Cynics might say would we notice the difference )

    Gary Lineker's Everton debut. (Which also was Mark Bright's false promise debut for us.)

    Lineker's Everton debut was in the Charity Shield.
    Bright's debut was on the opening day of the previous season.
