Not sure it's been mentioned earlier but I love it how he has been given squad number 14. Fate or what. :icon mrgreen:

He'll be a starter at Fleetwood I would reckon with possible places in the squad for Harvey Barnes, George Thomas, Hamza Choudhury and Josh Knight.
With Musa, Ulloa, Benny, Nacho man, Chilwell, Huth (if fit enough), King and Jakupovic getting a runout too.

Big loss if Morgan and Huth out.

Benny can be a bit of a bomb-scare, especially if he has to cover Maguire if/when he gets out of position.

Is Dragovic good enough for a whole match?

Austrian international who had a good reputation in the Bundesliga? he's more than good enough, I can see him and Maguire locking up the CB spots

He actually struggled in Germany. He made is name for Dynamo kyiv in the league and champions league.

I'd still like to see Amartey start at centre half with Maguire. Defensively Amartey had been solid out of position at right back for the past 2 games. He's still young and shown what he can do in good preferred position during the African nations.

    Hopefully at right back.

I'd like a team along the lines of

    Amartey Dragovic Benny Chilwell

    Hamza Silva

    Thomas Gray Barnes

he's a holding midfielder why play him at RB?

So Vardy did not make the squad today.

That usually happens when a player's sale is imminent doesn't it? ;)

I don't think we should risk Maguire what with Simpson already out and Morgan likely to be out for a while too.
Amartey, Benny, Dragovic or Huth (if fit enough), Chilwell
    Choudhury, King or James, Silva
    Musa, Ulloa, Barnes or Thomas
Subs Hamer, Knight, Dragovic or Maguire Nacho man, Barnes or Thomas, Mahrez or Grey, Vardy or Slimani.

Lots of sides in need of strikers. He’d cost a fortune.

Groin strain sir, groin strain. Beccy has only just returned from IACGMOOH so I’m sure the two events are linked.

Full strength. Win the FA Cup.

I don’t thibk we need to be full-strength but we also don’t want to play all kids/reserves. We should win but without due respect being shown Fleetwood could cause an upset.

    Hamer (He’s clearly second choice)

    Amartey Dragovic Benny Fuchs

    James Iborra

    Gray Silva Barnes

Vardy will be desperate to play, Mahrez will be keen not to get cuptied. FA Cup is an opportunity to win something and shold be treated seriously Let the management team decide on team selection, We should be able to put a team out to beat these , im going 1-3 Vardy Slimani King

So that we can throw the game like we should have done against Liverpool.

(I am of course joking - read the Liverpool pre-match thread)

Considering that we already have injuries due to the hectic schedule we really should be resting key players for this game.

    Knight, dragovic, Benny, Chillwell
    Barnes, Silva, King, Gray
    Slimani Iheanacho

    Is Barnes cup tied?

No, Championship clubs enter the competition in the 3rd round also.

Will also be good to see if we can get Ndukwu, Johnson or Gordon on the bench.

Our best chance of glory this year though .
