I believe he is when fit he may well be slow but he can read the game better than most players let alone centre backs.

I think he still has something to offer. People talk about his pace, or lack off. However, he has never had pace!!!

The reason why he looks vunerable is that he isn't playing in a back 3! In a back 4, he gets caught out for pace very easily. However, Elliott looks best in a back 3 with a bit of pace either side of him - Frank on the right, and Thatch on the left would be an ideal combination.

IMO I still think he is a very decent player. He reads the game well, very good aerially, and passes the ball excellently too.

I'm not sure he is as good as he used to be! I think he was better in the middle of a back 3. He never had pace but I just think his age is staring to play a factor, after all he is 3 years older than Gerryatric Taggart!

    50-50 split atm :)

I think he is good enough because he can read the game well, is experienced, wins most headers and is a great leader.

    Elliot is not good enough!!

We have to move on and be looking at Howey,Priet,Heath,Thatcher and still Sinclair and Impey!

That is the future of LCFC not Elliot!

Well done Micky for dropping him against B'burn!
