kavanagh and howard?

heard a lot of talk about theses 2 coming in january, i know holloway has said 5 signings, but realistically do you think any of these will come in? i think kavanagh is a high chance, but howard? although derby will be relagated so this could be on his mind, im just not as convinced he will come in, as i am with kavanagh.

Wheel av to w8 and c

Re: kavanagh and howard?

Fulop should be main target + the triailists if any good.

We need a keeper, a left back, a right winger and a creative midfielder. :icon_wink

I'd agree with that. Plus a striker who will score more often than the ones we've got now. :icon_wink

2nd best defense in the league... why is a left back priority? Creating is our problem not defending.

The weakness comes from the left in the shape of two lads that are not left backs. It would also allow Sheehan and Mattock to go forward which suits them better. :102:

I think we should go for that Harry Potter. He'd be magic.

They are both left backs, they are just young and rough around the edges. Our problems stem from not having proper midfielders and playing defenders and strikers out of position.

Re: kavanagh and howard?

Just getting towards the end of Ollie's book.

Howard was his number one target at QPR a couple of years ago, so sounds though he wanted to build a strike force around him then

Re: Capaldi

He's a left back. We need a solid left back and Holloway seems to like him. Does anyone know if he's any good?

Re: Capaldi

A solid left back who at that money would be a good buy. Would restore the balance that Clarke left when he departed.

I would be happy with this. No nonsense player in a possition that is hard to fill.

I would be truly gutted if this was the standard of player we are going

Another crappo to add to the ranks

Far better off persevering with Mattock and Sheehan

Re: Capaldi

Suprised really

More about him here
