Born in Leicester, moved away did my schooling in Cheshire not far from Manchester. Everyone was Man U, a red and black scarf as much a part of school uniform as a pair of kickers. Bad time to be going to school there as they won everything.
Granted Manchester is full of loyal Man U fans. I've met many along the way who are not from Manchester. They all have a well rehearsed defensive response that a family member is from there, they supported them before they were good... blah blah....
Thanks to my old man I have always hated them, and always will take pleasure in seeing them get beaten. Shame we couldn't do it this time but a Fergie time equaliser is nearly as good.
Pretty similar, I was born in Leicester Royal, Lived in Oadby and from age of 14 went to nearly every home City match with my Dad and Uncle. I then went to Manchester Uni (where a Leicester supporter was an oddity). Can't say I hated Man Utd -but they weren't my team. Other than a couple of brief spells back in Oadby and Hinckley - I've lived all over the place ( inc. Manchester again) during last 40 odd years, but I couldn't think of supporting any other team but Leicester, it wouldn't feel right, and let's face it, the last couple of years have been pretty special!

Apropos of something, I've never hated Forest though I know as a Leicester fan that I should. In fact, I liked the way they player under Clough - and that was my football formative years. I even cheered for them in that FA Cup final ... but then I've never liked Spurs so I wasn't in the slightest conflicted.

I'm not moved either way about Man U. They're just another team, no more no less.

Sometimes you don’t really know where you stand about a team until the game is underway. Always thought of myself as neutral on Jose and United....until that goal went in and I was pissing myself laughing.

Could have been Moss I suppose.

I’ve always liked the way Man U pass the ball around and use the pitch effectively particularly in the Fergie era.

I hate the arrogance and ignorance of some of their fan base.

Most of all though I strongly dislike Mourinho as he is arrogant, ignorant, blinkered, ungenerous in defeat and the way he treats others with complete contempt.

He is a dinosaur and his days are well and truly numbered.

Ooh spooky

I was born in Leicester Royal, lived in Oadby, and then went to Manchester University. I've lived all over the place (inc Mancheser) during the last thirty odd years - although now back in loverly Leicestershire

Do you also get naked every Friday and smear yourself with Goose fat ?

Goose fat is his Saturday garb.

Friday is butter day.

Can't stand Mourinho, all of the above and he's a master of the blame game - always someone to blame other than himself. Read a funny double comparison quote of his earlier, one reads that he prefers 5 wins and 5 losses to 10 draws as its important to go out to win games even if it means risking losing them and yields 15 points rather than 10. This was in 2014 during his time at Chelsea. Now at Man U he prefers 10 draws as it means you're more 'mentally solid' apparently..... :D change to suit.
