From the Beeb ...
Was it needed in the Brighton Game?
I've actually changed my mind on this. I've watched some Bundesliga games and I don't like how it's applied there at all. It's very different from eg. goal line technology.
Yes - i read somewhere there was a suspicion of handball.
From what I have read we have looked at how the Germans have applied and changed the wording for referees to streamline the process. I think it is a good thing and will probably show just how much ex professionals actually know about the rules of the game VAR will stop them from talking shite, the only thing I think they should do is allow us to all listen in the same as in rugby.
It was used in MLS, at least in the play-offs this year. One thing they did do was immediately yellow card a player who asked for it. From what I saw it worked pretty well.
Can they use VAR to see if players are actually showing the quality expected of a Premier League team or just dicking about?
That'd be the value added replay you're thinking about.
No, that’s a cuntometer, and is free to all fans. If you look back at the results the cuntometer shows that last season in particular there were many in view.
Oh FFS !!!
I though that this might warrant its own thread as there's a fair few posts going into the post match thread. I haven't started a pre-match for ages so I just hope I haven't jinxed it.
Jeff/Mod, can you move the relevant posts out of the post match thread ... thanks.
We have another match before this ...
Which we have another thread for.
Oh look it's John fuckin Moss again.
Amartey Dragovic Benny Fuchs
Thomas Gray Barnes
Hamer, Maguire, NDidi, Mahrez, Albrighton, Vardy, Slim
Any idea how many tickets are going to be available? Is it just the West Stand open?
what are they charging, if its £10-£20 think they will get well over 20k there
The plan is just for the West Stand to be open, but if there's enough demand they'll open other areas of the ground.
Think it's £10 for season ticket holders and £15 for general sale. After the first game that looks poor value for money to watch a reserve team.
