I can make neither head nor tail of it. Maddison left wing? Albrighton dropped. Choudhury makes an appearance. Which is cool I guess. Puel is a troll I swear.
Ricardo in - great. Albrighton out -Not great. Nacho in...
Lloris (C), Aurier, Alderweireld, Vertonghen, Davies, Dier, Sissoko, Winks, Dele, Son, Lucas.
Bizarre lineup Looks like 3 at the back, just the wrong 3
Son is going to have a field day.
Looks like 4-3-3 to me.
So, just like the Chelsea vs Man City game, both sides are starting without strikers.
4 at the back, 3 in the middle, Gray & Maddison out wide with Nacho up front. Probably not what i would have picked but seems the most obvious line up from the selection.
Weird, it's just weird. Hopefully Wilf smashes Dele all game long. If it's 3 in the midfield then wolf has no excuse to continue his abysmal performances.
Where's Simpson? Welcomed back on Wednesday, summarily dumped Saturday.
Christmas Tree formation? Puel getting into the seasonal spirit?
He puts Albrighton in He takes Albrighton out In, out, in, out He fecks him all about
Who would you leave out to put him on the bench? We've got two defenders on the bench. They're both better than Simpson.
Im assuming it's 4_3_3 with Maddison on left. Not ideal but also not a bad idea in the circumstances. Spurs have a strong midfield so we've added a body while also giving Nacho more support which he desperately needs by playing Maddison and Gray further up. Not sure it's what I'd pick but I can see the logic. With Vardy injured and shit all other options, it's a tough selection anyway. If it is 4-3-3 that is.
Bright start for once.
Good start and it’s nice to see us reacting to being pressed by popping the ball over the top. Had some good chances to get in behind so far and Iborra has started well.
Yellow card for Mendy
Stringer and Piper creaming themselves over Iheanacho so far.
