I really don't understand the panic for defenders or midfielders.
Hernandez played one game when the entire shape of the team was a dog's dinner. There is no real reason to think he isn't up to it.
Mendy has had 60 minutes to show his capabilities and a lot are ready to consign him to the ressies.
Wasil is an able deputy and Benny may just be edging his way back in.
I think we are fine.

Club is fine. BUT we have still arguably not replaced our best player adequately. That is a big thing in my book and we will feel it unless of course the Amarty party isn't a one off.

We do look a little short in midfield for January/February during the ACON which may be a worry if we have injuries as well; then again, I thought we looked a little short during the last January transfer window. That turned out okay. The moral of the story? I know square root of **** all.
