Why? Because common sense says that you shouldn't be putting all your eggs in the basket of a 26 year old whose highlights are a loan period at Udinese and a 3 year career at Caen and whose been out injured since he arrived in England. If he turns out to be a prem CB then that's a bonus.

You have been complaining about succesful players like Slimani and wonderkinds like Kramaric so I'm surprised this is your stance. didn't you also poo poo trying to pick up Sakho in January?

For me we go out and buy 2 good CBs and hope that Wagué can challenge them.

Clearly you've now taken to just making things up, especially as I was one of the few massive advocates of playing and keeping Kramaric and have said so numerous times. I agree we need at least one CB but I hope Wague is one of the answers we have been looking for as we all should.

Slimani was very successful before coming here (obviously we're talking about people's play before they come here if we're talking about potential transfers). Without injury and if he was played instead of the smiling flopper up front I'm sure he'd be a success here too.

It isn't silly to suggest something factual. I think we both know you made yet another daft error based on an inability or unwillingness to read things properly. Why not just be honest?

Clearly, the reference is about seeing him play for Leicester. Where in that did I suggest others hadn't 'seen him play before'? I'm quite sure lots of people have seen him playing for former clubs but that's got the square root of **** all to do with what I actually said. I even made sure to underline and put in bold, the part you seem to be incapable of digesting and you still managed to bollocks it up again. I mean, even you must see how absurd you're being? I'm beginning to think that you are genuinely ill.
