Mr Jon Moss, Mr Tim Farron and The Trump White House

On Saturday I left the ground pointing out that Jon Moss had given the worst refereeing performance since the match against West Ham. To me he was the epitome of evil - a mixture of Herr Hitler and Mr Tim Farron.

During the game and even more at the end thousands of supporters were chanting "You're not fit to referee". Despite my low opinion of the Jon Moss performance I was unsettled by this. Even when people are really obnoxious like Marlon King or Dennis Wise there is something unsavoury about insulting people who cannot answer back.

Somebody on the bus with one of those fancy phones told me that Radio Leicester had claimed Mr Moss had got the decisions right. I dismissed this as "Fake News" probably originating from the Trump White House. I then found that Match Of The Day made it seem as though Mr Moss was as wise as Solomon. Even those Custodians Of Righteousness The Mail and The Guardian had failed to condemn Mr Moss.

As I left the ground still unaware that Mr Moss had got decisions right I wondered what makes anybody become a referee. We need people willing to become referees and most referees do it for free on parks with no stewards for protection. If I had a member of the family considering becoming a referee I would have told him\her that it is not worth putting up with the abuse.

My point is to hesitate before chanting at the referee .The referee cannot answer back and he may just have got the decisions right.

I routinely shower officials with abuse at matches. I care not one jot whether they are right or not. I'm seeking to gain an advantage through intimidation. For the most part though, our fans shout abuse at refs because they genuinely believe that some or all refs have it in for us. It's a genuinely blinkered world that I've never been able to fit into.

I agree with those pundits that said that Moss got most decisions spot on on Saturday. That's not the point though. He's one of those characters that can be influenced and gotten at. It happened in the infamous match against West Ham where he was spot on to send off Vardy for diving but our intimidation resulted in him giving us a soft penalty.

The only way out of this is with robot refs or technology. Both of which I'd approve of although part of me would be sad at losing one of the few genuine influences that we fans have.

Lots of jobs come with the baggage of abuse, whether warranted or not. Refs are not special in that sense and I cannot find any sympathy for them. They are now also very well rewarded at the top level for what is a very cushy job in comparison with many others.

Many people don't think refs do an honest job. Our top referee for many years recently admitted being bent as **** which could have caused our title win yo be more difficult. I doubt all referees are corrupt but at least one was.

He got the Maguire penalty claim wrong, the ****ing ****

.

I don't want us to win by intimidation or for that matter by cheating. I want us to win by being the better team. However, if we should win by a lucky bounce or by the referee making a genuine mistake I will happily accept it.
In 1970s terms I am with Clough rather than Revie.

I'm damn sure Jon Moss has it in for us. Absolute ****, and he's genuinely the only one I have a real problem with. Although we can't really argue about the red card I did feel Amartey's first booking was a bit harsh but to be expected with a card happy twat like Moss. The amount of clear free kicks we had waved away by him as well was infuriating, never mind the Maguire penalty incident right in his face. Plus he's a Sunderland fan.. gives me another reason to hate the twat.

Jon Moss is terrible at his, high profile, job.

He deserves the stick, if he wanted to avoid it he could be a postman.
