It could be worse:

Aston Villa's official club website have been forced to cancel their October Goal of the Month competition because they didn't find the net once.

Paul Lambert's men managed to last and insufferable 547 Premier League minutes of football without scoring a single goal, then up stepped Andy Weimann on Sunday.

Before Weimann netted in their 1-2 defeat at Villa Park, their last goal came at Anfield in the 9th minute on the 13th of September, a 49 day draught.

But sadly for those Villa fans that enjoy a little vote on the goal of the month poll every now and then will have to go without this month... because there wasn't any.

QPR actually look quite good at the moment.

Some interesting games next weekend.
As well as us v QPR, Burnley play Villa, and Hull away to Man U.

If it wasn't for their late show against Villa a few weeks ago, Spurs would be in 17th on 11 points
