I don't understand the negativity, he is hardly Peter ****ing Taylor is he, he has had two very successful reigns at the club, on both occasions taking over with the club needing rebuilding and as others have said at the time of his departure left the club in a far better position.

He is excellent at building a good, stable structure both on and off the pitch, including a strong focus on sports science. I am delighted the owners have found a way to bring him back into the King Power fold and I am sure he will be a help to Shakey in the background.

I would have no issue in seeing him back at Leicester in some capacity as I think he is one of the greatest managers in our history, whilst I do not believe for one second he would have won the title like Ranieri did, he does deserve a huge amount of credit for installing the infrastructure that supported that success.

It's a marriage of convenience and I can see a number of advantages from the club's perspective. Further, NP is a valuable asset (for the reasons others have pointed out) and I can see how he can play a valuable role. He does bring with him some curious baggage but he is, in that respect, a known quantity (in as much as any of us are). A case of 'devil you know.'

Brilliantly said. He's not perfect, we certainly shouldn't be going back, but he achieved a huge amount for us and we might want to remember that.

I liked the bloke for 75% of his time here and at that point he was what was needed.

However, the bloke became an absolute joke towards the end. He was a stain on the club and his angry and somewhat bizzare and often threatening comments when representing the club in a professional capacity was totally unacceptable.

I appreciate his efforts in his early to mid stage with the club, but his behaviour towards the end ruined it for himself and for me.

He deserved to be sacked, the owners should stick to their morals, although it becomes clearer that they are quite loose when required.

Agree with all of that but he is a very good manager at building foundations and development along with team building and spirit.

I firmly believe our owners are fantastic particularly compared to 95% of the other clubs that are run.

Suddenly Pea Son found the winning idea of trying to score goals and we pulled ourselves from the shit. Genius or just slow in seeing the obvious because he was an ostrich?

Every major business in the region has some bloke who's task it is to provide said entertainment. Great pains are taken to ensure that nobody at board level has any idea who that bloke is. But they all know who to call to get them to call somebody else who will then call the bloke in question.

Pearson probably knew well enough where those girls came from.So from his perspective watching the moral high ground being taken over his sons behaviour presumably rankled more than a touch. I've always thought that was the most likely "difference in perspective"
