    Callum Elder wasn't in the Wigan squad today.

    Maybe Puel wants to have a look at our younger players, before possibly sending them out on loan again later in the month.

    A friendly against Danish team Nordsjælland. Ended 1-1. Played at La Manga. He wasn’t arrested and no fire extinguishers were used in the bar.

    Slimani has suffered a setback in training for Newcastle - the setback is allegedly related to his thigh injury rather than realising he doesn't want to play for Newcastle.

    Faces another 2 weeks out.

    Just saw on Twitter, that it means he'll now play a maximum of 8 games for Newcastle, which would give an estimated cost per game of £250k....
