I know Stuart Pearce was at the Stoke match on friday. I just dont see why they would buy someone whos not getting into the Leicester squad when were languishing at the bottom end of the table

Its hello div 1 if those rumours goes ahead. Boyd, another scottish player. We should go into the scottish league with all these scots. You know what some of our rivals call us? Leicester Scottish City. Is the answer to really get more scots. Shame maybury + de vries and douglas aint leaving, rather have them leaving then gudjonnsson, gerrbrand and williams.

Forest did the same and look where it got them. If the club have any sense theyll try and keep some of them at the club. Even with those players we're still in bottom half.

i heard a rumour that Williams was going Man City and not only would we get a bit of cash but we'd get fowler on loan til end of the season...

whether it's true or not we will have to wait and see!

joey wont go anywhere, look at his passion i think he wants to be loyal to us. atleast i hope so he's our best player this term.

gerrbrand has already stated he wants to play football at LCFC i doubt he would leave after just 1 season with us.

i like your optimism coops but im a bit of a cynic (not as bad as mk ) maybe these players are showing a bit of passion or saying the right things for the fans benefit while putting themselves in the shop window, we will see how loyal joey or any of the others are at the end of the season if they were to be offered new/improved deals, if joey keeps up his recent form then he deserves a new deal probably wont see the best of gerrbrand for a while he needs time to adjust

I just got 2 points if this was all to happen.

1 - It would show we are a selling club again, over 3.5 million in outgoing transfer fees but just 750k in expenditure.

2 - Everyone saying we be better next season gelling etc. isnt quite going to happen if we make large numbers of changes again.

I probably wouldnt mind williams going at that price, he has talent but doesnt seem to be in craig's plans, joey going would explain why he has been on form all of a sudden and what he is playing for, but I would like him to stay I feel he should be captian. Tommy wright would be a good sale, considering we have got rid of many better players for less in the past. Gerrbrand 2 million is a nice price but again be dissapointed if he left especially as craig only brought him in this year.

There have been rumors of Pearces interest in Stearman...seems a bit more likely than Williams to me.

only issue there is whether he is sick of being one of few with great passion for the team. hopefully williams plays at least one good game this season before he leaves, up the price and then all wave goodbye.....not that we'd be able to catch him up to wave, he travels quite fast away from the walkers when he is just substituted.

could we not arrange people to stand with buckets at the crewe game, a few quid each for everyone and danny shouldnt have to wait to save up for his flight home in the summer. he may as well be getting paid to not play in a different country
