Evans is a decent enough addition, at that price

He a fairly solid defender without being particularly special - has been incredibly overrated by some, but a significant improvement over what we have so all is good

Personally I'd love to see Rondon here. Always a player I've rated. I think he'd do well in a team that actually try to score goals.

I don't see Rondon as anything better than what we already have. He's to West Brom what Slimani is to us. I suppose he does always have a cracking performance in him but it's one in twenty if that. He's not the one I'd be after. If we can tie up Evans and Maddison deals it'd be really good business in a pretty quick time frame. I'd still like us to have a crack at getting Grealish in as he'd be an ideal no.10 for us but I'm sure there will be other targets we are looking at to fill that gaping hole. Next stop, a left back please.
