Excellent. You were clamouring for the club to release a statement or for Mahrez to explain himself and now that both of these things are done and happen to contradict all the other bollocks in the tabloids you've chosen to believe, it's a PR stunt.

It's ****ing crass to suggest that because he has shown a desire to play at a higher level and fulfil his potential that he is in some way 'entitled'. He is doing what most ambitious people on Earth want to do; become the best at the thing he loves doing.

There are lots of reasons you may not like him or may want to see him elsewhere and some of them may be more valid than others but they shouldn't be based solely on the fact (the only one you know) that he wanted a move to test himself atbthe highest possible level.

If o understand correctly he (as I) is disappointed at Riyad’s attitude (the second time mind) to not getting what he has wanted.

The ins and outs of what has gone on is unlikely to be totally unveiled but what is for certain is Mahrez has been disingenuous not only to his employee who pay handsomely for his services but Alessia - and arguably more importantly to us the fans.
