The league they've won 18 times?
Stop being arsey. The premier league.
Football was indeed only invented in 1992
I agree. I mean, I can actually see Holloway interviewed now and smile at him with something resembling fondness.
They are laughing at us because they DIDN'T win the prem last year and may not in their lifetimes. An attitude adjustment will do you fine.
The real test is whether you keep your shoes on or not.
Yes, but they've won the Premier league as many times as Lincoln City
Does it matter what the league was called at the time it was won? Are the 1991 first Division champions less deserving the 1992 premier league champions?
Yes. It was Leeds.
No it doesn't, but the fact Liverpool haven't won the Premier league is quite amazing in itself
And worthy of note for those negative nancies on here.
Also not relevant.
It's interesting to hear how Robbie Savage keeps banging on about how we are making the wrong decisions 'tonight' and how we aren't pressing as a team 'tonight'. Perhaps he can now see for himself why we are all so frustrated with what we are seeing week in week out, instead of telling us we should stop moaning?
From the Torygraph:
I wonder what the press/media reaction would have been had Pearson never been sacked and it was him who won the title and was then sacked after the same record this season
On MOTD2 now on BBC2 featuring LCFC.
And what a load of self righteous bullshit it is
We should have done the right thing and kept losing.
Gerrard told BT Sport: “I think they’ve let the manager down big time. I think to show the character, the desire and the fight that they showed in their last two performances, to not give that to Ranieri previously after what he gave them last season, I think it’s badly disrespectful.
“You play for the club, the badge, not necessarily the manager. That’s why I can’t understand how a group of players can decide when to turn it on. Two weeks ago none of them wanted to know, none of them were running, none of them were pressing, none of them were playing anywhere close to where they played last year.
“All of a sudden one man leaves the club, ‘Oh, now it’s time to have a go, let’s roll our sleeves up, it’s time to turn it on’.”
