1. Final league position: 7th
2. And would you be happy with that? - YES
3. How far will we get in the Champions League? - Quarters

I won't post my other predictions as they were less flattering.

Overall, despite what I have written above, I don't think anyone can genuinely be happy with the way our players performed over 2/3 of the season, it was bordering on embarrassing watching some of the fluff served up by players with obvious talent.

The Premier League is not stronger than last year, Europe was there for the taking in my opinion.

Domestically I am not truly happy with the performance, possibly happy with the final finishing position but this view is tempered by the fact we thought we'd get relegated 3 months ago.

Our performance in continental completion was something to be proud of. A team with little experience of this type of football outperformed all of the other English teams.

I hope we can kick on next year and build on our exploits over the last 2 years.

Happy with the Champions league showing.
Recent performances in the league leave me thinking what might have been. (Not just in the league but FA Cup as well. We had a bloody good chance to get to the 1/4s at least :( )

I made a pact with the footballing gods last year that I would never ever say that again if they would for once in my life let me get what I want. I intend to stand by my word so I'm happy with the way the season panned out

Throughout my lifetime, I've always believed that anything above the relegation places in the top league is a good season.

That just doesn't stand up any more though. The level of investment from our owners, the level of quality within our playing squad and our achievement last season have changed us for the foreseeable future.

Time was that Man City had very similar aspirations than us. They don't any more which just goes to show how times change.

We had ten out of eleven of the team that won the league by ten points plus about £70m of reinforcements. The supposed improvements made by others really hasn't turned into anything, with the exception of Chelsea.

In that context, it has been a very disappointing season. We're at least twenty five points behind our capability level.

The brain fart from Ranieri, coupled with the complexity of adding the Champions League commitments, have made much more of a difference to us than we could ever have imagined.

Given these factors, we should be at least about where Everton are and we should have been there all season.

Looking forward, with a massive financial boost from the Champions League, and no European football next season, we have the opportunity to do anything again next year. If we're smart.

N'Didi was good from the start, but £50million for Slimani and Musa does not look so good.
However both Vardy and Mahrez were pretty crap in their first year with us, so I am prepared to see how they do next season, since most of our squad have had a pretty crap season up until two months ago.

It was all down to the pre-season. Nothing else, just the pre-season.

Without that we'd have won stuff. We'd have picked up a Europe spot and been voted into the BGT finals fo sho.

It was all the shite pre-season. Wankers.

You forgot about the lack of effort part.

Whatever it was, it could have been so much more.

As long as we do not do a Leeds Utd I will be thankful, all in all it has been an average season with several low points

A lot hinged on the final game. Has it been a good season?

Well. The champions league was fun. We did better than we expected. So that was good.

However 12th place when you've won the league the previous year, in a year where so many teams were poor, is simply not good enough. Not sure how West Ham finished above us - that's not a good sign.

Shakey goes, for me. Unless he has a compelling plan for next season.

If he states his aim as winning the FA cup and top ten, then maybe he gets a chance. Spurs result was extremely poor though and showed some major tactical gaps.

No not happy - I was hoping for 8th or 9th but at least a top 10 finish. 12th might not sound much worse than 9th, but it's 25% worse placement wise. We did better than I expected in the CL

Choice of manager and summer signings is critical - either of those two goes wrong, and it'll be a relegation fight next season for sure.

Leicester finished on the lowest total of a reigning English top-flight champion since Liverpool in 1902.

Considering the talent at our disposal, it's been a fecking horrific season. At least 25 points fewer than we should have got. One great night against Seville doesn't make up for anything in my book.

Piss poor all round and I certainly wasn't there to show my appreciation at the final whistle.

I want major changes on and off the pitch this summer.

Same here. They didn't warrant my appreciation at the final whistle after today's performance and after a very disappointing Premier League campaign. I didn't stick around either.

The appointment of Manager may well determine how many changes we need on the pitch.
Whoever comes in we need at least one more CB, assuming Morgan and Huth have one more good season in them.
We need another Mendy if Mendy does not mend.
We need another CF if Ulloa cannot improve.

And of course, if any of our stars leave , we will need their replacements.

I would say it was more that we do not have strength in depth .

I feel very disappointed, the quality of the league this year was so poor that we only turned up for 2 months and finished comfortably mid table, we should realistically have done so much better in the league.

The champions league was a highlight of course, but I value this less than most I think and it does nothing to alter my view of the season.

Frustrating season punctuated by the club losing a lot of the previous seasons' good will by the handling of Mr Ranieri; we rather went from being the romance of football to the depressing side of the modern game with one sacking.

That aside, a great run in the CL and we're not down, so...
