Schmeichel, Simpson, Morgan (c), Maguire, Chilwell, Iborra, Ndidi, Mahrez, Gray, Okazaki, Vardy. Subs: Jakupović, Dragović, Fuchs, James, Diabaté, Albrighton, Iheanacho.
Silva not even in the squad
Puelis with his random team and formation generator again. Several changes of personnel and a different formation to either of those used last week. No wonder he's sucking the confidence out of the squad.
Puel has faith in Gray. Good to see Shinji back. I hope he makes a difference.
Yet another grab bag of a team selection. Every week the preferred 11 becomes less clear.
I seen what you done.
I personally would like to have seen Dragovic back in for Morgan. But I guess it's against the rules to drop your captain.
Nothing wrong with that team at all - i expect us to thrash them comfortably Some people will complain and moan about anything, for no real reason
It's called having an opinion rather than complaining.
That's because we've been complete toss for several weeks Is it wrong to replace the hopeless James with Iborra, having seen the filth served up by Silva ? The truly dreadful Albrighton gets dropped, and that's also wrong ? And the hopelessly isolated Vardy gets Shinji in to assist him, and that's wrong too? Bizarre
Fitz did it before him in the pre-match thread
Or reverts back to mainly tried and tested but with Gray instead of Albrighton? You hated his selection and tactics last week, would you have preferred him not to make changes?
I didn't hate his selection or tactics last week at all. I hated the way he abandoned them after 20 minutes and gave no direction to his players following this. I just want him to have a selection policy and tactics. His selection and tactics are totally random. Silva was in the starting line up last week and dumped from the squad this week. Diabate in, plays well and gets dropped. Dragovic playing well and gets dropped. Simpson dumped from the squad last week and back in to start this week. Gray in and out every other match. Iborra ditched for weeks and not even coming off the bench and now straight in to start. None if it is planned or rational. It's just random changes from someone who hasn't a clue what our best team or formation is. It is exactly the sort of approach that players hate. How they play or train is irrelevant. I bet each selection is a total surprise to them too.
Apart from the fact Chilwell is in the team, doesn’t look too bad to me.
I can't imagine why these are bottom of the league . . . .
I'm sure everyone complained when we played the same 11 each week but were still winning. Now we're a bit shit so trying to mix it up is the wrong thing to do??? So people love a good moan and seems about our strongest 11 atm.
Yeah that looks amateurish as ****, even I could have knocked that up in a few minutes. Surprised to see Kevin Phillips back there but whatever works I guess.
Silva, James and Albrighton had awful games last week and are rightly replaced.
Simpson, Chilwell, Iborra, Ndidi, Gray - all have shown ever more inventive ways to give the ball away when under the slightest bit of pressure and often not even that. Here's hoping there's a big improvement this afternoon.
