It's codgers vs youngsters - need to satisify them all...

so......

get a current band recording an old track

erm Kasabian doing a version of In the Mood by Glenn Miller

or old band doing new track

erm Beverely Sisters doing Travis, Sing

. get the idea? - come on you can do better than that....

I voted "House Of Pain" because DJ Lethal is in them - the best DJ in the universe.

Wrong.
I'm the best DJ in the world. FACT. End of.

consty would back me up on that but he's too busy checking out youporn
who can blame him

I'd vote kasabian to see the reaction from away fans, just to see if they think they are shite. i personally think that kasabian are to leicester folk what jimmy nail is to geordies, proclaimers are to scottish people......

I don't really think we should have Kasabian just because they're from Leicester, because the way I see it they're just a crappy indie band. We should have something more interesting like House of Pain.

assume you mean jump around then, and not the rest of their stuff (gash). would still be nice to think it could be silent and the roars of the crowd would require no music :)

Yeah it would, but that's like saying "it would be nice to have no police because everyone could just be really nice to eachother."

I've thought for along time now that Kasabian should most definately be used at the walkers, either at kick-off or halftime or both.
I do agree that the old geezer with the horn does show some character and heritage to the young generation of us leicester fans but like most things around this football club, we need to evolve abit if we actually do want to get promotion and get back in the topflight.

Alright, i carn't imagine that playing "club foot" is going to actually help us gain more points, but nor will any other song, its just that Kasabian themselves epitimize for me what leicester fans are, or at least what i've grown up thinking we are,i am (i'm 19) and that is ballsy,no fear, honest, passionate and respectfull of leicester city football club.

the band themselves (when doing a special one off gig in the city) told channel 4 - TBA music show, that they love playing in leicester with there fans so much but would very much dought it if their stuff got to be played out at the walkers because of the nature of the older generation,

i don't see any alternatives that show any better way forward than Kasabian

(and im not even that bigg a fan of there music in particular)

That one from 'It ain't half hot Mum'.

Meet the gang ’cause the boys are here —
The boys to entertain you.
With skill, and tactics to help us on our way —
We're raising the rafters with a hey-hey-hey!
With strikers and midfield, defenders too —
So score with us and you won't feel blue!

So meet the gang 'cause the boys are here —
The boys to entertain you!
B-O-Y-S — boys to entertain you!

"Sit Down" by James - as a message to all those standing fans......

Does anybody know if there is a song called "We're a bunch of cnuts and we're not interested in playing for this club or for Cocoa The Clown or anybody else that may think they have power and authority over us superstars"?, if so can I have a copy please?

theres a really good post punk band called the young knives, they're from the leicestershire area, 'weekends and bleak days' would be good before a match
