You probably might think this is a silly question but i'm going to ask it anyway. If you didn't go up as champions, would you consider it as a failure?
No offence, but personally I would if it were Wolves. My reckoning is you'll be installed as hot favourites to win the league.
Very similar to our problem this season, although it was more not knowing how to be more ruthless in front of goal. Yesterday's result really summed up our whole season and we unfortunately deservedly paid the price. :icon_cry:
My sincere comiserations (sp) :icon_cry: I was hoping S-ton went down.
Oh well hopefully you can bounce straight back up to challenge the trees and the sheep heads.
As for the Wolves, we got what we deserved this season. :bang:
If he can stay fit, it could be a good bit of business for you. He scored 31 goals in 94 appearances over three years. Average 30 games a season and 10 goals.
Good luck Corty. :038::icon_roll
I don't even want to think about any final at this stage, but IF we do get there and face the sheep, we'll do our best to beat then for you. :icon_wink :icon_roll
Thanks for all your comments. :038: TBH i'm glad you survived the drop but even happier that we've made the play offs. We've now got a VERY tricky couple of games against our arch rivals but to be honest i'd prefer it this way rather than a one off game. :icon_roll
I've heard a little rumour that in order to avoid getting spotted many of our fans that will be sitting in your home end will be wearing blue so that if they get spotted they'll say that they from Wolverhampton but support Leicester. Manure fans can get away with it with their fanbase coming...
I just hope it's a good game (another 3-4 to us would do nicely :038: ) and those Wolves fans who have managed to get tickets in the home end behave themselves. :icon_roll
To be honest I don't think they'll cause any trouble being the last league game of the season. Let's hope it's a great carnival atmosphere and that no-one gets turfed out. :038: :icon_roll
I have to agree with you lako, :038: however there is talk that there's going to be 2000+ so let's hope commonsense preveils. What's the chances of more tickets being issued to us to meet the demand?
This Sunday's fixtures featuring teams 3-9
Colchester v Crystal Palace
Derby v Leeds
Leicester v Wolverhampton
Preston v Birmingham
QPR v Stoke
Southampton v Southend
West Brom v Barnsley
I really can't see Derby, West Brom or Southampton losing, can you? :icon_cry: :icon_roll
