Under O'Neill he could hardly get in our midfield, now he'd be our star man! Shows how times have changed...
Still... onwards and upwards.
ps think he plays for a Greek team.
I think Scowy will struggle a bit more now with any decent crossers of the ball, especially Muzzy gone.
As for a ball winner... yes we badly need one. I like McAteer but wages may be a problem and he's not the youngest....
You can probably add Barry Hayles to that list.
Having said that I'm glad we didn't sign him.
John Harley would have been nice though.
I can see it now... pre season..
MA: "where's all our left backs?"
Alan Cork: "Erm... you've sold/released them all"?
MA: "Oh.. ok, well where...
Jimmy Quinn?
COME ALL WITHOUT
COME ALL WITHIN...
Also, to go off on a tangent here (and I apologise) I saw Bob Dylan perform at the Fleadh festival on Sunday and he was awesome!
I'll bet there's 5 new signings next week... all young and eager and talented.
*reassures himself*
Ok ok, it won't happen, so why did MA say it would?
ps We shoulda had Alan Quinn - we're better than the blades!
Its the premiership vultures circling the corpse of a relegated team. It happens. Ok so we put some f u c k i n g stupid release clauses in... not so much their presence that annoys me but the fees involved.... we've lost Scimeca, Dickov and Thatcher for under 500k combined. Bo ll ocks...
Half as good?
I reckon you're doing Wilcox a few favours there mate!
Why don't we go the whole hog and snap up Tim Sherwood and Stuart Ripley to go with him.
Release Guppy and then sign Wilcox.... erm... what?
You were dreaming.
Either that or I wasn't watching.
Both are very possible.
Any player who isn't 100% for the cause should be on their bike, KG is one of those IMHO.
