Sam Evans becomes the first player to get three Championships centuries this season for Leics in a good batting performance against Surrey, Marcus Harris also getting a ton. that’s six tons so far for our players and Evans and Hill in amongst the top runscorers.

Unfortunately the bowling attack is simply not strong enough for us to win matches, as proved against Gloucs on Sunday.

Maybe, our batting lineup is the best it's been in at least a decade though, so it's not as bad as it used to be.

Incredible stuff. I got distracted and forgot we were playing, due to the absence of wicket alerts on my phone! So was a pleasant surprise to find out we were 50 short when I got the alert about Harris’ wicket.

we’ve scored far more 100s this year than in most recent seasons.

Callum Parkinson ended with 10-108 (5 wkts in each innings).
