Promotion party in Plymouth? Yes please.

Bugger, got to keep my Sky subscription for a bit longer…

The traditional sacking fixture is a bit late on. If he gets the boot mid April it's going to be another fun year.

Damn, I was hoping Ipswich away would be on a Saturday so I could get the train there. Enjoy a few pubs, that sort of thing.

Maresca's expert analysis of the fixture list that is in no way written by a teenager in the social media team.

See. Told you it'd be Cov didn't I ? If only the lottery numbers were as easy.

No less than 31 3pm Saturday kick offs. Proper football is back!

Yes.

Ipswich away on Boxing Day particularly grim.
Didn't they thrash us one year on Boxing Day?

RE the fixtures, I'm actually looking forward to the season now. Yes, relegation was shit, yes it should never have happened, but depending on how the squad rebuild goes, I'm quite excited at the possibility of this being the start of a new chapter after things had become stale under Rodgers. Just me?

(My optimism is tempered by the nagging feeling that Maresca will be a complete failure though. I'm taking the healthy route of suppressing that worry deep, deep down)

There was a 3-0 in the snow but that was a week before Christmas 2010. They beat us Boxing Day 2002; we were 1-0 up until the 84th minute. Darren Ambrose winner. Reverse fixture that season was 6-1, when we had three off injured in the first half, but that was in August.
