Did anyone see it on bbc2 last night or seen it before, i really quite enjoyed it, i seem to enjoy most films with Edward Norton in.

Its a slow burner but a great directoral display by Spike Lee and in general got a great cast.

Best film Spike Lee has directed, all the others seem to disappear up their own backsides too quickly, and for once he wasn't trying to get a 'message' across.

Edward Norton is probably the best Actor of his generation in my opinion. although Johnny Depp is a close second. i think the only stinker he has been in was The Italian Job remake, and he didn't want to be in it but was obliged to because of a contract with Warner Bros.

Thats why 25th Hour is quite appealing because that isn't so heavily leant upon.

I haven't seen any Spike Lee films of recent for the above mentioned reasons. But I have heard that he tends now to concentrate on writing a good film as opposed to a political film based on hype and propoganda.

I might give it a go
