Not a very good 1st days play from the boys. Hope we can get Afridi out quick tomorrow as we may be facing a very high score to chase.

I managed to see the morning session before the kids woke up, but then Scooby doo took over..:icon_roll ... I was amazed to see the score when I next looked at stumps!:icon_eek:
I thought we'd have been having a knock by the end of the day...

I reckon they are struggling with the hot/humid weather out there. Dont fancy their chances for this series much at all.

I think they are still finding it hard to come down after the Ashes series. But if they are to reach the top then they've got to dominate teams like Pakistan. I don't think we are capable of being as consistent as the aussies with the likes of KP in the team. When he's good its top entertaiment but i don't think you'll very often see him batting for more than 2-3 hours.

To be able to beat the rest of the nations on 'their turf' we need a world class spinner. Something we do not have and do not look like having for the forseeable future. We're ok on 'our patch' where the wickets are green, but think we'll continue to struggle in places like Pakistan/India until we find that elusive spinner

England 391 for 7 at the close.I'm not really a cricket fan.Only ever played it with a Tennis ball ,that 'Compo' used to hurt if it walloped your shins.

well done pieterson and bell, saved the innings by the looks of the score card, still alot of work to do though come on ENGERLAND

Good reply by the boys. Still some work to be done though to save/win this match.

Pakistan 183 for 6 at the close,a lead of 199.If you are interested.......

Need to skittle them out early tomorrow to stand a chance. Less than 250 to be in with a shout.

Great bowling from Flintoff today.

its all set up for another exciting finish. All 3 results still on. I fancy England if we need less the 250.

20-4 at one stage now 75-4 chasing 285

stauss tresco and bell out for ducks...not a good start but KP and freddy seem like they fancy a fight
