Two days to go, reckon this one will be heavily affected by the weather. Worried about the England middle order, although the commentary box will be great with Warney taking the mick out of Bopara, Collingwood and Bell. If anyone has seen him at it so far, he clearly has no respect for any of those players and he doesn't hold back. Very funny.

And Warney was the one who came up with the Shermanator nickname for Ian Bell after American Pie - as shown in the Times yesterday:

Finally started.

Hughes has been dropped by the Aussies and replaced by Shane Watson who is opening the batting even though he has never batted about six in test matches.

The Aussies have also lost Brad Haddin to a broken finger seconds before the game was about to start.Technically England could have made the Aussies carry on with 10 men as it was after the toss, but England were nice and allowed them to replace him with Graham Manou

Pre-match I thought it was a poor decision to drop Hughes who two or three tests ago made two tons in a match. Watson's career average when opening in first-class is 4 from 6 matches.

However as he is 28 not out now, perhaps we should reserve judgement.

Aussies 56-0 started well

126/1 with only Katich gone. Didn't see much of the action but it with the slippery conditions and potentially wet ball, it was a good toss to win.

2 wickets in 2 balls!!

Ponting gone

Onions again....Biff will be happy.

163-4

Clarke gone, LBW Anderson

197-5

Absolutely superb from England, disgusting batting from the Aussie middle order.

Piss off home and stop wasting our time.

Lovely stuff this.

Apart from Bopara dropping one :(

Come on lets finish them off before they creep towards 270+

Aussies 263 all out.

Onions gets his 4th of the innings.

What odds do you think you will get on England to be all out for under 150? :)

No problem

Bopara in now, and then Ian Bell.........
