Sky Blues track Blades ace Fri, Jul 14 2006 08:57
Coventry are believed to be lining up a move for Sheffield United's out-of-favour striker Geoff Horsfield.
Micky Adams has admitted that he is looking to bring in a new striker before the start of the season and missed out on former Everton frontman Francis Jeffers, who decided to join Blackburn.
Horsfield only joined the Blades during January's transfer window and after a fallout with Neil Warnock, the former West Brom man saw his chances limited at Bramall Lane.
It's now understood that Warnock is looking to offload Horsfield in order to fund possible incoming transfers, with the Sky Blues leading the queue of interested parties.
bloody good player to have come on for 20 mins. will bag goals in this league
