Academy Go Down To Gunners
Leicester City's under 18 side went down 4-1 at Arsenal on Saturday morning.
The Foxes went into the game on the back of a six-match winning streak, but came unstuck against the Premiership giants.
City took the lead through Chris O'Grady, but found themselves down to 10-men shortly afterwards when Scott Lycett was sent off for deliberate hand-ball.
And the Gunners made full use of their extra man and went on to score four goals in reply.
Academy Director Jon Rudkin said: "We created some good chances on the day and the scoreline isn't really a fair representation as to how we played.
"Arsenal equalised from a dubious penalty and we had a man sent off at the same time which was frustrating. That certainly didn't help our cause.
"But we took plenty of positives out of the game. Our side included two schoolboys so they will take great confidence away from it."
