Academy Fall To Reading

Leicester City's under 18 side went down 4-0 away to Reading on Saturday afternoon.

The Foxes went into the game sitting pretty in second position in the Academy Premier League Group B table.

But the youngsters would come unstuck away from home, leaving Academy Director Jon Rudkin to curse a mad 12 minutes after the game.

He said: "We played reasonably well for the first 20 minutes, but have let in four goals in less than quarter of an hour after that.

"The lads will have learnt a lot of hard lessons today. We simply didn't punish the opposition and we were made to pay."
