A three week break did nothing to halt the momentum of City's under 18s as they racked up their sixth consecutive victory 3-0 over Charlton Athletic.
Three goals in a ten minute spell in the second period handed the win to the Foxes, just reward for another fine display.
The first half was largely uneventful with neither side carving out too many threats on goal. Despite the lack of chances early on, City dominated attacking possession and made their intentions to cement their reputation as the form team in Academy football clear.
It wasn't until the last five minutes of the half that Leicester managed to create any real openings. First Ricky Muggleton shot wide after good work from Levi Porter down the right flank before Louis Dodds hit his volley into the ground and the Addicks 'keeper managed to get a hand to the ball as it bounced over his head to keep the score all square at the interval.
Stephen Dawson put in a true captain's performance on the day, battling hard all over the park and leading many a forward charge.
As the game wore on it looked only a matter of time before the Foxes would break through. And so it proved, though the opening goal came from an unlikely source as centre half Scott Lycett headed home a cleverly worked corner in the 67th minute.
And it took City just five minutes to unlock the Charlton defence again. Brilliant work from Porter and substitute James Graham set up Dodds for the easiest of headers to double Leicester's advantage.
The flood gates had well and truly been opened when Chris O'Grady fired in a Lee Cox cross for City's third on 77 minutes to wrap up the three points without goalkeeper Conrad Logan being troubled at all in the game.
