probably one for the foxes trust, or a knowledgable fan...

with city's accounts:-

1) do they have to publish them now they aren't a plc?
2) do they end in april, or at season end?
3) what place are city budgeted to finish next season?

Only plc's have to publish financial statements. Private limited companies have to file accounts at Companies House within 9 months of the end of the financial year. However, this can be delayed (for the exact amount of time I am unsure) for only £100. These financial statements can be abbreviated if the comapny falls within certain criteria which mean they are not defined as a large company or group.

The year end of any company is the choice of the company...it makes no difference if it is a football club or not. Very unlikely to coincide with the end of the tax year which is the 5th April.

No idea about question 3 but I am sure someone from the Trust can be more specific on all 3 questions.

They are a plc (as in Private Ltd Co), as Northants Fox stated the annual return is filed at Companies House and the club doesn't have to issue any press statement. However so far it has chosen to do so.

Last year LCFC announced its results on 18th Sept 04 via a press release.

The financial year end is 31st May.

The budget is yet to be finalised, this will happen at the next board meeting at the end of this month.

The League placing is of less relevance in the Championship, as each place higher does not equal a further £500k like the Premiership.

The budget won't be set on achieving promotion & therefore gambling on future income, a prudent approach will be used. If we go up, that's then is following years budget.

If anyone is felling flush and they realy want to know the finacial affairs of city, You can pay about £70 to Companies House and get a complete copy of the years accounts of any company
