I have put an accumulator on today, but there were none of the pre-printed sheets left and had to just write it down on a slip and therefore do not have the total odds for my accumulator.
I was wondering how the odds are calculated as I had a go myself but must of gone completely wrong somewhere as it was a very small number. Less than 1/1!!

I have the following games on :

Chelsea to win 4/11
Portsmouth to win 6/4
Blackburn to win 4/6
Stoke to win 8/13
Sunderland to win 8/13
Oldham to win 4/5
Swansea to win 5/4
Bristol Rovers to win 5/6
Blackpool to win 1/2

It bloody happens every week, one team completely F's me in the A! Blackpool are unbeaten at home in 15 and are at home to bottom of the table Brentford, yet Brentford are winning 3-0 already!! Bastards!!

Still would like to know my odds and how its worked out anyway. Cheers

I make it about 165/1 although that seems high.

Cheers, may be a bit high as they were pretty much bankers, only a couple with better odds than 1/1.

How did you work it out? Just multiply the odds together??

Sure you didn't mean to hit the W key there

Just start with a quid and work out the result of each one.

£1 at 4/11 (chelsea) = £1.36 coming back so £1.36 goes on to the next and so on.

Wouldn't worry, Pompey ****ed you up right away.....

Nice one mate, cheers! :thumbs_up

Finally, cheers Mods for moving it. Wasn't sure whether I should put it in here as it seemed to be about vBookie events only. Sorry.

Yup - it's just marginally over 165/1

You can easily work it out with the Windows calcutaor.

Start with 1 - for the first game, divide by the second figure in the SP and then multiply it by the sum of the two figures in the SP - so in this case, you divide 1 by 11 and then multiply it by 15 (4+11) to get 1.36363636

Now take this answer and do the same thing for the second game and each subsequent game.

Any tips for an accumulator this week?

The only banker that I have found so far is a home win for Ipswich! ;)

My long list this week is as follows:

(home teams in bold)

To win:

Chelsea vs Middlesbrough
Man U vs Charlton
Arsenal vs Wigan
Derby vs Hull
Forest vs Northampton
Lincoln vs Torquay
Swindon vs Rochdale
Celtic vs Hibernian
Gretna vs Airdrie

To Draw:

Hartlepool vs Walsall

I placed a bet of £1 and stand to win £84.24

I do one every week at Friday lunchtime - last week I was 1 sodding result out - that being Liverpool not beating Everton.

I'm waiting until around midday tomorrow until I put it on as a few games may get called off due to the whether, especially in Scotland!!

My housemate lost out on winning last week thanks to Southend's last minute equiliser against Stoke!!
