Let me first make it clear that I'm not blaming the ref for our display or the result.

However, how did the guy only get 5 minutes of added time in the second half today?

1. The QPR man was stretchered off which took at least 6 minutes time.
2. The endless time wasting of the QPR players to which their Keeper was booked. This indicated the ref was aware of it. Logically then there must have been a further 2 minutes.
3. Six substitutions to which the law requires 30 seconds for each one. Hence a further 3 minutes.
4. The sending off of Furlong. At least another 1 minute delay.

That totals 12 minutes!

To add to the insult to the (just!) 5 minutes added, he only 'played' about 3 of them!

This ref had no control from the 1st minute of the game and was bullied throughout by both sets of players.

Well at least we got our money's worth lol. There was a point i thought it was a cup tie and we were in extra time with a chance of penalties.

....and what about the couple of minutes for when he was knocked over by the ball? The ref then was treated for quite a while, and why did he not stand at the side of the pitch when play restarted??

Totally agree, the ref had absolutely no control and it was laughable at times....well it would have been if I wasn't almost having heart attacks with rage and frustration.

What about Dions belly laughs at the ref....and Johansson dragging the QPR player off by the leg?? Great moments in a totally mad afternoon. I can hardly speak.

I haven't seen one decent ref in this league and they are getting worse. I know everyone moans about the ref's but they have been shocking......we need to swop our refs with the prem for a week so motd and sky sports can analize them....cos we all know that they don't give a toss if it's not the prem! I used to get really irrate with the refs but now i just have to laugh cos they are unbelievably bad, if i had a quid everytime i saw a ref make a bad decision at the walkers i'd be a millionaire.
Dion's belly laughs at the ref and johansson dragging of langley by the leg has to be the highlight of a non event playing.....what a bag o shite!!!!

2. The endless time wasting of the QPR players

Our players used to do it all the time under Micky Adams. OK not all the time, but on the rare occasion when we had something to hang on to. I hated it then too.

The ref was mind blowingly bad yesterday. Not only the time keeping but he seemed totally incapable of making his own decisions and kept consulting with the linesman (I refuse to call them referees assistants).

Most referees when they see blatent time wasting will at least do the old rolling hands motion to get things going but he just stood there staring. I would even go as far as saying that ref was worse than Mike Riley.

The authorites have to do something, the refereeing was a joke, and whilst he is not to blame for the result, it was another nail in football's coffin.

We have players earning thousands a week and yet the game is controlled by a middle aged, school teacher or a guy who is supposed to be professional but always looks overweight.

There are hundreds of players being lost from the game, through not being good enough players, why cant the authorities recruit these players, to become refs, they understand the game and would have the fitness levels required. Also if they made it a more lucrative occupation then it would be attractive and a good way of many of these players staying within the professional game in some capacity.

He was probably more of a wannabe than anything else - and because he wasn't good enough, he decided to ref.

Guess what? He's not good enough for that either!!
