I was quite impressed with DD when I saw him working with players at the Hinckley game. He worked the subs out when they were warming up before coming on and then worked with players when they came off to warm them down. Seemed to know his stuff, possibly a shame he had to go as well as MA2.

That's the way it is though nowadays.

Doesn't matter how good any of the other coaching staff are, if the manager goes, they are likely to get the push soon afterwards.

I like the idea of a fitness coach who can outrun the players and lift more weight than them - as per Megson's comments on the official site. Gives them something to aim for and adds a good amount of banter.
