I know nothing about him...or any of our signings so far come to think of it.

I don't want to be branded a moaner though so I won't say that I think we are doing the same thing we always do and that we will probably find out soon that we have signed another Jarret, Hughes, Maybury, Yeates etc.

I do hope I am wrong though...and even if I am not I do hope Martin Allen is a better motivator than all the other useless fecking excuses for managers we have had over the last 7/8 years.

For a side with a defence that always seems to be on the wrong side of a shambles Newcastle actually have some decent individuals that could slot in elsewhere. i actually think that Bramble will prove an excellent signing (for Wigan wasn't it?) and Taylor is being linked with Liverpool as the new Carrigher. O'Brien though reminds me a bit of Dabizas, not absolutely crap but...
