Arsenal linked with Eremenko swoop

A couple of Premiership clubs are keen on Alexei Eremenko Jnr – one believed to be Arsenal Football Club.
The Finnish star impressed last season in Italy with Lecce, after failing to win contracts with Birmingham City and Leicester City, both of whom had the player on trial.
Arsenal are believed to have made enquiries about the midfielder in January, and the 22-year-old has revealed two English clubs are keen on him – prompting speculation the Gunners are weighing up a bid.
"Two English clubs have been in touch with Lecce," Eremenko told Sky Sports. "I can't reveal which two clubs but they both are Premiership clubs. However, Lecce are looking for €3 million for me and I think that's too much."
I'd be interested to know whether it was MA or CL who had him here last season......
