Another fine mess?

No this is not for Laurel and Hardy fans.
I was looking in the mockery tonight and noticed the stats on the championship clubs disciplinary records. Whilst we are o.k regarding red cards, we have accumulated the highest amount of bookings (34).
I'm not sure where this puts us in terms of another fine. If i remember we had to splash out last season because we had a suspended fine hanging over us , if the same applys this season then its something we can ill afford. For that matter we have been poor on this for a few seasons and with limited playing options we neither need players suspended or any fines.

Having tiatto in your team wont help the bookings count either.

then again it all could just be down to the poor level of reffing seen in this league thus far. I wonder if we could get some stats that count the overall and our yellow card counts respectively compared to last season.

joey appears to get booked for persistant fouling, say about 10 fouls on half way. which isnt the worst thing you can do. tiatto gives away one foul, but waits till the player is 2 yards from the penalty area when he could of made an attempt to not get the ball 40yards up the field

They did make a good point on the phone in that over the last 5 or so years we've had about 5 different squads, 4 different managers and a new board and yet our disciplinary record seems to stay the same.

IMO as a team we tend to collect far too many unnecessary yellows, for example needless fouls, dissent etc. I dont mind a player recieving a yellow for a bone crunching challenge, pushing their weight around or for bringing an opponent down in a dangerous position, but some of the bookings especially in the case of De Vries are just a down to poor discipline and we can ill afford to be losing players in these circumstances.
