After six years as a Premiership referee Andy D'Urso has been relegated to the Football League next season after failing a performance review.
The demotion could threaten his international career when Fifa conducts its annual review at the end of the year but until then the Essex official can continue to handle top games in Europe.

D'Urso was limited to a dozen Premiership appearances last season when he served a suspension for failing to send off Barry Ferguson despite booking the then Blackburn player twice in a match at Southampton

He isn't thats why they have demoted him to the Championship.
