From what I can gather from the net.
The good points about him are that he takes no crap from anyone, players, officials and other teams. so we wont have to put up with dublin and blake "out for a walk" and like any good manager if a player aint performing he will get rid. He will also have the balls to stand up to the referees, who for two long have seen city as a easy target and aint bothered about giving desisions against us.
Next point, He builds his teams on a sound defence all the best teams are build on a solid defence. We know better than most what happens to teams with poor defence. Remember we where the fifth highest scoring team and still got relegated.
Point three: His football style may not be fancy. but he gets results, just like MON. remember "Boring. Boring leicester"
IMO I think they have gone for Levein because he has all the same attributes and caracteristics as MON and also because this guy is going to be a damned fine manager in his own right. This squad is talented but does need a big wake up call and the new manager seems the right man to do it.
PT's style was frustrating, MA was crap and so boring, but I for one, was never ever bored under MON and if he can achieve half of what MON did, I will be happy. Greece also played simple, solid football and they did well. We cant afford flash expensive players and never will so the ideal manager will be one who exploits the players strengths to get the best from them.
Point Four: He wants a fit squad, and make the midfield work their nuts off. A team that can only last thirty minutes will not do. I bet the players are shitting it. Double training will start.
I think the board have done their home work and found a manager that has the strength of charecter and experiance to take us forward and up.
