Thracian getting his hopes up far too early. thinking like this puts too much pressure on everyone IMO. let the bloke do his job and see what happens.

why do people insist on thinking about so far into the future after only a short period of success?

we're not safe yet and we need to think game-to-game, not get carried away thinking we're out of danger.

What a dick he is. Also, his comments about O'Grady, the lad is a great prospect, but he has just made a few appearances as a sub, and is yet to get on the scoresheet. Talk about build people up, and then when we have a few iffy performances, no doubt Thracian's size 11's will be on the other foot.

I don't think anyone will bothered so long as we stay up this season, then next season win the league by 20pts and be the first ever F.A.CUP winners at new Wembley. If he can't promise that then sack him now.:icon_roll

... because he (Thracian) is excited for the future and why not. ;) :icon_wink :023:

I thought Thracian's article was spot on, made some excellent points, and i agree RK must be No1 contender come the summer, if he can carry on this good early work.. ive stopped looking below us, a top half finish should be the target this season.

I also believe that the good young players weve brought in this season (McCarthy, Hume and Fryatt certainly)would have been RK choices not CL, he may have more up his sleeve!.

I thought it was a good article too. If things go wll why look for another manager who will do another clearout and then bring his own dross in. Just give it to RK.

But I still think thracian is a tosser......:icon_razz

Well I can guarantee McCarthy wasn't as Levein watched him when he was at Hearts.

Lets not be too quick to cannonise Kelly. There is a long way to go this season yet.

I agree. All this talk of top-10/top half makes me nervous. There's a lot of points to be won, another run of 2-3 defeats could drag us right back in it. We haven't won in the last 2 games after all :icon_wink

To be honest I think it's only the fact that Brighton haven't been getting the results that have kept people off his back this long :icon_lol:

KELLY KELLY KELLY, OUT OUT OUT!!!!

I actually dont think it is that bad an article, although normally I find the guy mildly irritating, I actually believe that the majority of the article does make sense.

I certainly believe that Kelly must be the No 1 candidate, and whilst the results have been excellent, it has been the performances, passion, commitment that have really caught the eye and the imagination. Why shouldnt people be positive, rightly so the supporters are reacting to what they are seeing out on the pitch, and at present it is bloody good, so lets enjoy it, but at the same time keep our feet on the ground.

Ditto with Hume, he said that he'd watched him for a while but couldn't afford him at Hearts. With Fryatt he said he saw him within weeks of coming down here, whether that was in the company of Kelly or not :102:

I just love breasts.

Fair point(s) well made and constructive. I'd go along with that perhaps with the proviso that they are not saggy.
