I am in charge of sorting the music and audio for our school play which we show to parents on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday of next week. I need some music software for the PC that I can pre-load the music tracks and sound effects into that will allow me to play them with a single click preferably (it may be controlled by children so needs to be as easy as possible for them to hit the mark, especially with sound effects) and that won't loop the track at the end.

Media player hits the first but not the second point and will automatically start the next track in the playlist, which is undesirable. What options do I have audiophiles?

Found a cracking piece of software called SceneSound that is designed for RPG gamers but does the job very well.

There's an open source application for radio stations that would be just the job, but I can't remember the name of it.
I know that isn't much help, but I am trying to find it and at least you know that it exists and it's free.
