as we are coming near the new season,the squad is looking very thin...especially the defence,is the gareth williams fee holding micky back or are we skint , i must admit im getting confused with all the background noises,some say we have no money ,yet you look in the papers we are linked with somebody everyday...i just hope we are going to bring some more faces in,or else we could be in for a long season,ive got bad vibes and i should not really with a club our size

i wouldnt worry. with our present squad i confident that we'd hold our own. im pretty sure that there will be 4 or 5 new arrivals before the seasons starts and if the rumours regarding connoly are true it suggests we are heading in the right direction. im looking forward to seeing how first division defences try and defend set pieces against us with the likes of elliott, dabizas, heath, dublin, scowcroft, nalis and benjamin in the ranks. all of them are over six foot and are going to be important for us.
