I used to be a Leicester expert but having been away for 15 months I'm pretty much off the pace. Off out tonight for a meal and then some drinks and casino. anyone know of any decent bars around Charles st in particular, and then any general bars in the city?

and all the bars in Brauny Gate.

I am further off the pace but the few times I have been out, Brauny Gate, as you say, has had the nicer bars.

I am a boring old sod though. Probably depends what you're after.
